MidValley STEM-CTE Hub Microgrants for Teachers

With support from the Oregon Department of Education and local businesses, we are offering a limited number of $100-$1000 microgrants for educators in Linn and Benton Counties.

The Mid-Valley STEM-CTE Hub’s goal is to ensure that all students in our region have access to meaningful STEM and CTE experiences. We firmly believe that supporting great teaching is one of the best ways to achieve that goal.

There is ample evidence that COVID is widening the existing systemic education and inequality gaps. We aim to work with teachers to create inclusive plans to reduce barriers and support students. To that end, we encourage applicants to contact us with any questions or for more information about completing grant applications.

The MVSCH microgrants will be awarded to fund equity-focused, STEM-CTE related projects or initiatives, especially for those furthest from opportunity.

Any teacher, administrator, or school staff in Linn and Benton Counties may apply. Grants will be reviewed by an external committee, using a scoring matrix. Funding will be prioritized for applicants in rural and/or majority free and reduced lunch schools. Grants will be made available on a rolling approval cycle throughout the 20-21 academic year to allow for maximum participation.
