\"Pathways<\/span>Pathways is a strengths-based, STEM & CTE exploration program for middle school students. Students are recommended by school counselors for participation in the program.<\/p>\n

The mission of the Pathways program is to:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Help students build confidence by learning new skills and learning to work as a team;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Encourage students to learn about themselves and how to make positive choices;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • students plan for their future by identifying interests and possible career paths.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t
    \n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

    \"PathwaysPathways initially began as a summer camp program in July of 2019. Activities included building a robot car, participating in a day camp at the Central Electrical Training Center, touring Linn-Benton Community College's Advanced Transportation Technology Center, and learning CAD programming from LBCC instructors.<\/p>\n

    By instituting COVID-19 safety protocols, we were able to hold a brief 2020 summer camp program entirely outdoors. Activities included building a remote control car, team-building games, career exploration, disc golf, hiking, and water safety.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t

    \n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

    \"PathwaysWe are launching our first afterschool program for Albany middle school students in January of 2021. Each boys & girls group will begin virtually and hope to meet in-person once our county moves to a lower COVID-19 risk.<\/p>\n

    Depending on where we are at with COVID-19 Safety Protocols, we have tentative plans to establish a summer camp program for Lebanon\/Sweet Home middle school students as well as an afterschool program beginning in the Fall of 2021.<\/p>\n
