Welcome to The MILL Co-Op<\/h2>\n

The MILL Co-Op is a collaborative and community-led teacher innovation learning workspace<\/strong> that centers cooperative pedagogy around STEAM education. <\/span><\/p>\n

Equipped with a wide range of tools and technologies, The MILL offers educators a space to explore new concepts, experiment with equipment, and engage in hands-on professional development. The space supports everything from creating classroom assets and repairing materials to skill-sharing, <\/span>Open Education Resource <\/span><\/a>(OER) development, and peer-led learning.<\/span><\/p>\n

The MILL operates through a cooperative model\u2014members share responsibility for keeping the space active, safe, and welcoming. In lieu of fees, members contribute service hours each term by hosting workshops, supervising open hours, creating open-source resources, or supporting new members. <\/span> <\/span>Curriculum, files, and projects created with MILL tools must be shared as open-source educator resources.<\/span><\/p>\n

The MILL is open to educators for collaboration, design, prototyping, networking, and hands-on learning. Educator-led sessions on tools, techniques, or pedagogy are strongly encouraged. If you have a STEAM project, teaching strategy, or skill you'd like to share with other educators in the Linn-Benton area, <\/span>schedule a session in The MILL. <\/span><\/p>\n

From Parking Lot 1, 2, & 3 \u2192 The MILL<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Enter Takena Hall through the main north entrance (closest to North Parking).<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Walk straight down the main hallway until you see the stairs and elevator.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Take the stairs or elevator to the second floor.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Exit Takena to the breezeway facing the courtyard. <\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Turn left and walk a few paces.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Room 229 (The MILL) will be on your left with signage at the door.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
