Greater Albany Public Schools Micro-externships
GAPS micro-externship – June 21-23: Sign up to learn more about the construction and advanced manufacturing sectors in Linn and Benton Counties. Open to 25 Albany School District educators. Space is limited. Learn more and sign up here by June 1.
Oregon State University Educator Engineering Externship
Join us for the Oregon State University Educator Engineering Externship this summer taking place at OSU from June 20-22 from 9am-3:30pm. Come and learn about engineering programs, tour labs and campus, learn about precollege programs available to high school students, participate in hands-on activities in the makerspace, and visit local engineering companies. Associated General Contractors (AGC) Construction Externship
July 12-14 & 18-21. From apprenticeship programs and project management to procurement and safety, construction covers countless occupation areas – and is far more than swinging a hammer. Participants are eligible for three credit options: 80 hours of PDU’s, 4 PD 805 credits, or 4 ED 638 graduate credits. Space is limited. Sign up here. Sign up by June 3.
