Connecting young people with business and industry is essential to creating relevant, hands-on
learning opportunities and career exploration in STEM/CTE fields. Industry professionals play a
critical role in making STEM/CTE learning come alive!
Makerspaces are collaborative workspaces inside a school, library,
or separate public/private facility for making, learning, exploring,
and sharing that use high-tech to no-tech tools.
The MILL (Maker and Innovation Learning Lab)
The MILL is the Mid-Valley STEM-CTE Hub's makerspace on the Linn-Benton Community College Albany campus.
The MILL is currently under construction, but will be located in Takena Hall, room 229.
MILL will be open to LBCC students and the Linn and Benton County communities.
Our Mobile Makerspace is a van that we can take to schools and organizations in the Linn and Benton County region.
