With support from the Oregon Department of Education, the Mid-Valley STEM-CTE Hub will launch a third round of microgrants to educators from schools and community-based organizations in Linn & Benton Counties.

The MidValley STEM-CTE Hub’s goal is to ensure that all P-20 students in our region have access to meaningful STEM and CTE experiences. We firmly believe that supporting great teaching and our local community ecosystems are some of the best ways to achieve that goal.

There is ample evidence that COVID is widening the existing systemic education and inequality gaps. We aim to work with teachers to create inclusive plans to reduce barriers and support students. To that end, we encourage applicants to contact us with any questions or for more information about completing grant applications.

The MVSCH microgrants will be awarded to fund equity-focused, STEM-CTE-related projects or initiatives, especially for those furthest from opportunity.

All successful applicants this round will be asked to participate in a design thinking & resources professional development workshop prior to receiving any grant awards. More details soon!

Please feel free to contact us with any questions!
