What is Career Connected Learning?
Career Connected Learning (CCL) is a framework of career awareness, exploration, preparation, and training. Career learning develops over the course of one's lifetime. To support this process, CCL ensures purposeful instruction and engages diverse communities in building collaborative, community-driven learning. CCL connects the interests, aptitudes, education, and goals of every Oregon youth to their future.

Regional Opportunities
The Linn-Benton region's Career Connected Learning (CCL) initiative seeks to connect industry professionals with local K-12 students through meaningful career exploration experiences.
Our goal is to:
- Enhance classroom learning with real-world industry insights
- Expose students to diverse career pathways early and often
- Increase awareness of essential employability skills
- Provide interactive experiences such as site tours, classroom visits, and hands-on demonstrations
The CCL Employer Directory is a NEW (Winter 2026) resource that educators may use to identify and contact interested industry professionals to initiate a CCL experience. All contacts listed have provided their information and indicated an interest in offering specific CCL opportunities, as noted in the directory.
