Mobile Makerspace – Ophelia’s Place

New participants must register with Ophelia’s Place before attending this event.

Printmaking: for this month’s Mobile Makerspace activity, participants will become natural historians and engage in the art of printmaking. We will learn about the traditional Japanese practice of Gyotaku, or fish printing, and create our own beautiful fish print art. We will learn about anatomy and diversity, gain practical experience in using our observational skills, while increasing our understanding of other cultural traditions. This activity is a great combination of art, science, and history, allowing participants to gain and apply knowledge in numerous ways.
