Dr. Kishana Taylor, a Postdoctoral Research at Carnegie Mellon University, is the invited speaker for the annual Womxn in Science Outside the Lab Speaker series. Please join us for Dr. Taylor’s virtual talk, a grad student lunch, and other remote events throughout the day. This talk is in partnership with the Ecology, Evolution and Conservation Biology (EECB) seminar series.
Dr. Kishana Taylor is a virologist, cofounder of Black In Microbiology and advocate for minoritized groups in STEM. Dr. Taylor’s research interests include arboviruses, zoonotic viruses and their epidemiology, ecology and evolution. Dr. Taylor also serves as a Councilor for Virology Trainees with the American Society for Virology.
