Science Journalism with Vicky Stein

Vicky Stein is a science journalist and nature enthusiast.

Since she was a kid, she’s loved exploring and explaining the wild things that live in tide pools or under rotting logs. After majoring in biology as an undergrad, she spent a few years working as a whale watch naturalist before pivoting to science writing through the UC Santa Cruz Science Communication program. Now, she has bylines in multiple publications but spends the majority of her time writing and editing for Live Science and Space.com.
