Welcome to The MILL Co-Op
The MILL Co-Op is a collaborative and community-led teacher innovation learning workspace that centers cooperative pedagogy around STEAM education.
Equipped with a wide range of tools and technologies, The MILL offers educators a space to explore new concepts, experiment with equipment, and engage in hands-on professional development. The space supports everything from creating classroom assets and repairing materials to skill-sharing, Open Education Resource (OER) development, and peer-led learning.
The MILL operates through a cooperative model—members share responsibility for keeping the space active, safe, and welcoming. In lieu of fees, members contribute service hours each term by hosting workshops, supervising open hours, creating open-source resources, or supporting new members. Curriculum, files, and projects created with MILL tools must be shared as open-source educator resources.
The MILL is open to educators for collaboration, design, prototyping, networking, and hands-on learning. Educator-led sessions on tools, techniques, or pedagogy are strongly encouraged. If you have a STEAM project, teaching strategy, or skill you'd like to share with other educators in the Linn-Benton area, schedule a session in The MILL.

From Parking Lot 1, 2, & 3 → The MILL
- Enter Takena Hall through the main north entrance (closest to North Parking).
- Walk straight down the main hallway until you see the stairs and elevator.
- Take the stairs or elevator to the second floor.
- Exit Takena to the breezeway facing the courtyard.
- Turn left and walk a few paces.
- Room 229 (The MILL) will be on your left with signage at the door.
