The VEVOR Leather Die-Cutting Press is a manual press that uses high pressure and interchangeable cutting dies to cut repeatable shapes from leather and other compatible materials. It can be used to create pieces for wallets, keychains, jewelry, patches, bags, and other leather or craft projects.
To make a cut, the material is placed on the cutting surface with an appropriate steel-rule or compatible cutting die. Pulling the handle lowers the press onto the die, applying enough pressure to cut the shape from the material. Dies can be changed to quickly reproduce consistent shapes.
Compatible Materials
Depending on the die and press setup, compatible materials can include leather, fabric, paper, EVA or PVC foam, rubber, and other soft or medium-soft sheet materials. Always verify that the material, die, and thickness are appropriate for the press before cutting.
Before You Begin
The press generates significant force and creates serious pinch and crushing hazards. Keep fingers and hands completely outside the area between the upper platen, cutting die, and base whenever pressure is being applied. Cutting dies may also have extremely sharp edges and should be handled carefully.
Make sure the press is stable, the die is correctly positioned, and the material lies flat before pulling the handle. Never exceed the machine's recommended capacity or attempt to cut materials not approved for the press.
New to die cutting? Practice with scrap material and a simple die to learn proper material placement, die alignment, and pressure before cutting finished pieces.
