The Brother Entrepreneur One PR1X is a single-needle CNC embroidery machine designed for creating custom embroidery on clothing, bags, patches, and more. Its free-arm design also makes it possible to embroider harder-to-reach areas such as sleeves and bags. The PR1X features an 8 × 12-inch embroidery area and a collection built-in designs, and a positioning laser that helps accurately place designs on a project.
For embroidery, fabric is paired with an appropriate stabilizer and secured in an embroidery hoop. The hoop attaches to the machine, which automatically moves the material as the needle stitches the selected digital design. Designs can be selected and edited using the machine's touchscreen or imported digitally.
Compatible Materials
The PR1X can embroider cotton, denim, canvas, felt, fleece, and other textiles. Different materials may require specific needles, thread, stabilizers, hooping techniques, or machine settings. Beginners should start with a stable, medium-weight woven fabric such as cotton.
Before You Begin
The PR1X contains a rapidly moving needle and embroidery arm. Keep fingers, hair, jewelry, and loose clothing away from the needle and moving components while the machine is operating.
Never push, pull, or obstruct the embroidery frame while the machine is stitching. Stop the machine before making adjustments and immediately stop operation if you hear unusual noises, experience a thread jam, or the needle strikes the hoop.
