Things to Know
- Membership runs August–June
- Members need to attend an orientation event and pass the General Safety Test before working in the makerspace.
- Members can access the woodshop, fiber arts equipment, and prototyping tools after passing the corresponding safety tests.
- No fees — instead, members contribute at least 8 hours per term through hosting or co-hosting workshops, supervising open hours, creating OERs, onboarding new members, or helping maintain the space.
- Open to publicly funded PK–12 educators, ESDs, community college faculty, and nonprofit education partners.
